Hi,
   This is for Bob.
   When you freeze bread or English muffins, in order to get the moisture
back in them, you should wrap the slice of bread, or the English muffin in
a piece of paper towel, and microwave it for about 30 seconds, then toast
it.  I would also recommend that you do not fork split your English
muffins before you freeze them, that will be easy enough to do after
they come out of the microwave.
   Hope this works for you.  You have nothing to lose by trying it.

  P.S.  Depending on the wattage of your microwave, you may not need as
much time.  For only one slice of bread, try 10 seconds first.
