Bread-Bakers v098.n027.18

I have to put my 2cents in on this one.  I don't know that much about
yeast, but you can make a starter with milk and flour.  I found this in
"A World of Breads" by Dolores Casella, page 144.  If you would like the
recipe just let me know.
