Improving nutritional content:
If you or your family are used to eating white flour products, then
here are a number of ways to improve the nutritional content of the recipe.:

Substitute half a cup of unbleached white flour for half a cup of
wheat germ in the basic bread recipe.

Substitute a cup of unbleached white flour for a cup of rolled oats
or a cup of whole wheat flour.

Substitute 2 or more cups of unbleached white flour for whole wheat
flour and/or oats.

Presoak 3 cups of whole wheat flour in 1 and a half cups of water
with a tbs of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.
